ITA: Un uomo e la sua chitarra. Giancarlo Frigieri esordisce come batterista nella primissima formazione dei Julie’s Haircut, dopo poco abbandona i tamburi per la chitarra e fonda i Joe Leaman. Finita anche quell’esperienza si ri-inventa in veste di cantautore anche se sarebbe più corretto dire songwriter vista la sua predilezione per la musica “americana”.
Da poco è uscito il suo primo disco in italiano: “L’età della ragione”. Autoprodotto.

ITA: Emidio Clementi è uno scrittore che fa musica. O un musicista che fa letteratura.
Attivo fin dalla fine degli anni’80, è uno dei nomi di punta della così detta “scena alternativa italiana”. Con i Massimo Volume ha pubblicato quattro album, prima di un congelamento terminato durante l’estate del 2008. E’ stato parte integrante del collettivo El Muniria, con cui ha inciso un solo disco (“Stanza 218″. Homesleep). Ha dato alle stampe quattro romanzi (“Il tempo di prima”, “La notte del Pratello”, “L’ultimo Dio” e “Matilde e i suo tre padri”) e una raccolta di racconti (“Gara di resistenza”).
A settembre uscirà il primo disco dal vivo dei Massimo Volume.

Active since the late Eighties, Clementi is one of the deans of the so-called “Italian alternative scene”. With Massimo Volume, he released four album before the band went on a prolonged hiatus which finally came to an end during the summer of 2008. He was part of the El Muniria collective, with whom he recorded one album (“Stanza 218″, on Homesleep). He has published four novels (“Il tempo di prima”, “La notte del Pratello”, “L’ultimo Dio” and “Matilde e i suo tre padri”) and a collection of short stories (“Gara di resistenza”).
The first live album by Massimo Volume will be released in September.

Dopo essersi addormentati per alcuni anni, freddie a Brooklyn e la Lee in Cina, finalmente si ritrovarono a Venezia, dove il vicario Vittorio Demarin, incarnazione dell’eroe biblico GVitron, li battezzò. L’avvenuta conversione non poteva che confrontarsi con le quaranta notti e i quaranta giorni passati sfidando le tentazioni di Satana nel deserto. Solo al termine di questo periodo le Rivelazioni avrebbero potuto aprirsi nel loro messaggio più grande. Ma questo era ieri.
Lui ci ha detto di voltarci verso il Sole, sento qualcuno dire. Il Presente di Father Murphy si compie nell’Eresia, aggiungo io.”
